Another thing that helped me succeed, especially when I was first starting my home business, was a technique called 'Treasure Mapping' which involves the power of visualization. This power of visualization can be used to bring the desires of your heart to you and obviously help you with your home business efforts. The more you desire the object or the condition, the more magnetic energy you can use to help bring it to you. So you want o have a collage of pictures on your wall that contain the objects of your desire. For more detailed information on this process, you may want to read a book by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer called 'Manifest your Destiny' which goes into some details about these techniques that are beyond the scope of this article. He has researched these techniques among numerous cultures around the world from the America's to the Pacific Islands to Asia. Very interesting stuff indeed. he talks about the importance of holding the image of the desired object in your mind for as long as possible and having a complete absence of doubt regarding the outcome. He says the nature of the universe is abundance so any perception of lack is counterproductive. The universe, he says, is always expanding, therefore it does not know the meaning of scarcity. So if you bring visions of scarcity to your manifestation efforts you are doomed to fail. He also says that it is critical that you must react to your manifestations with an attitude of thankfulness and generosity. Hoarding or trying too hard to hold onto your manifestations is also counterproductive to the process. These principles work, and I recommend that you apply them both to your home business and to your life in general. They really do work. When putting together your own 'Treasure Map', I recommend that you include pictures of things like your dream home, the car you have always wanted and the vacation destination you have always itched to go to.
