Network Marketing Tips and Strategies
If you have come to the conclusion that your home based business venture is going to be in MLM,
then there are a number of factors which you should know about in order to keep you aligned with the recent trends
in the industry.
Some of these tips came straight from a man who has worked with such stars of the industry like Seth Godin as well as other elite marketers.
He has worked with the very best, top of the line individuals and has really done his homework, in my opinion.
As you build up your particular home business opportunity, do refer to your downline as your
organization or even better, as your 'community'. Some of the individuals in your sales force may not be too crazy
about being called a 'downline' member due to it's subliminal boss-employee connotations, which this industry does
not really resemble. Of course, it is doubtful that they would actually drop out of your community simply because
you called them this. Nonetheless, why would you want to get off to a bad start with someone new?
Regarding your language and terminolgy, another suggestion is that you call lead prospects your 'prospective partners' or even better, your 'potential partners'.
Certain individuals, particularly those who are the real individual types, which most mlm people and home business operators are anyway, may object to being called a 'lead' or 'prospect'.
This label kind of reduces them to an object in their minds instead of the unique individual that they know themselves to be.
Once again, this one factor might not cause them to drop out, yet any edge you can get couldn't hurt.
And here is some friendly advise concerning words which say to yourself. If you are about to call some leads, do not say things like 'I am gonna start hitting my list now"
or " I am gonna start attacking the lead list now". This is simply a bad language habit.
