And when you really think about it, you can start a big and successful organization, sales force or 'downline" with only about 10 good people in your first level or leg, so it really makes a lot of sense to make these calls. You will not necessarily have to make these calls indefinately, because once you have established your primary legs you can just focus on helping them to get going and work with their own warm lists and build their own organizations. Now you will be building a deep organization that will stand the test of time. Remember that it is usually better to build deep rather than just wide so your home business does not flicker away eventually. I read somewhere that 'super salespeople' that have gone into network marketing often build very wide organizations due to their great ability to sell people. But their organizations often flicker out very quickly because they are too wide and they cannot support them all alone. On the other hand, teachers often become wealthy in this business long term because of their ability to teach people in their downline communities, thus duplicating themselves while teaching others how to do the same. They focuse on building deep instead of wide. thus they have deep roots which do not get yanked up easily. And of course this way they do not have to train everyone by themselves, they have help and they all work together toward the common goal of succeeding. So in summary, making these lead calls to prospective partners may seem rather hard to a lot of you individuals out there but in reality you will probably need an additional set of entrepreneur skills to be one of the mega earners in multi level marketing. But the good news is that these skills do not really require classes so much as just plain practice. That may not seem glamourous but in fact practice makes perfect. Making flapjacks requires more than just water. If you were cooking them for your family would you just use what is around or go pick up the ingredients to make a great breakfast? It is undoubtedly worth acquiring the skills required to succeed in MLM, if you happen to have chosen this industry for your home based business venture, since individuals who are successful in this field generate an equal payday and even more than the top corporate execs' do. In fact there are even more millionaires made in multi level marketing than in any other business in the America, incuding real estate! |
